Darkdeserthighway and We’re On The Way possibly have a better chance than implied by their form figures and may benefit from the addition of cheekpieces.

This is complicated by the fact that Imposing Supreme and That’s Just Dandy contested Saturday’s Irish Cambridgeshire. It may be worth taking a chance with ALLIHIES, a 7f winner at two now dropping back in trip after an encouraging Galway run. Drombeg Dawn rarely runs a bad race and should be in the mix.
18:00 – Samuel Pepys
A return to a longer trip may do the trick for SAMUEL PEPYS, an 80-rated colt who is one of the lesser lights at Ballydoyle. He should confirm Galway form with Lizzy’s Fily, but could be tested by Astelia who chased home an 85-rated runner on the more recent of two Curragh outings. Free To Party also comes into the reckoning, being less exposed than either Zoffman or Lakewood.

Really competitive but a 16-runner handicap so there will be value. A win bet on INDIGO DESERT (nap) looks the call. He’s almost certainly well-handicapped. War Correspondent, Cherub and Libby have all failed to win a race but are possibilities now.

THEONEWEDREAMOF can continue the good form of the Cromwell yard. Recent winners Our Scholar and Your Honor are greatly feared in a decent race.
