13:00 -DELIRIOUS DREAM

DELIRIOUS DREAM hasn’t been beaten far on his last three starts, running up to his best when runner-up to one who showed much improved form at Kempton last time. That form stands out in this field and, provided none of the newcomers turn out to be above average, he should be able to open his account. Premier Option went down fighting at Ripon recently and looks the likely danger.

13:30 -EYE KNEE

EYE KNEE has recorded both of his career wins at this track and he ran a next-time-out winner close over a similar distance to this at Redcar two starts back. Admittedly, he wasn’t in the same form back on the all-weather at Lingfield last time, in trouble before the step up in trip was an issue. That was a much deeper race than this, though, and it would be no surprise were he to bounce back returned to this venue. The two three-year-olds Turner Girl and Whitcliff are feared most.

14:00 –TANZANITE

TANZANITE showed improved form switched to a nursery over six furlongs at this course last week, bumping into one who was seen to good effect on the front end and was well-in under a penalty. Tanzanite proved he has been handed a fair opening mark and is well worth a try at this longer trip, so will remain of interest. Man Made Of Smoke wasn’t seen to best effect when fifth in the same race and better can be expected from him from a handy draw.

14:30 -DARK SHOT

DARK SHOT has gone 15 starts without a win, but he generally goes well at this course (two-time course and distance winner) so could be worth chancing to bounce back to form following a poor run at Southwell last time. His previous form when a close third at Goodwood reads well and he will be competitive if bouncing back to that level with the cheekpieces back on and from a good draw. Ventura Express, Spring is Sprung and Embour head up the dangers.

15:00 -WADE’S MAGIC

This looks wide open and a chance is taken on WADE’S MAGIC to reverse the form with the reopposing Rain Cap. Wade’s Magic highlighted he is back in form on that occasion and would have likely finished even closer if he wasn’t short of room in the last half furlong. He is better off at the weights now and may offer some value. Rain Cap, who is bidding to make it four wins from his last five starts, Billian, and Circoloco all make the shortlist.

15:30 -MIDNIGHT MOLL

This doesn’t look a deep race and it looks an excellent opportunity for MIDNIGHT MOLL to record another win. She is a well-bred filly who looked potentially useful when making a winning debut at Newmarket in June and that form has worked out well with the second, third and fourth all winning next time. She showed improved form in defeat in a stronger race last time and should have no problem resuming winning ways in this field. Carva Myrine went with some promise when third on her debut at Ayr and looks the one to chase the selection home.

16:00 -MONAADHIIL

MONAADHIL is enjoying a good season and is fancied to bag win number three on the back of his good Chelmsford third when set too much to do. Ayr second One Last Hug arrives on a long losing run but still rates the biggest threat, with Regal World appealing as the pick of the rest in a race where plenty have question marks against them.
