13:35 – Alexas Princess
All six runners make their nursery debut over a new, longer trip and the betting should be revealing. Queen Of Romford’s best effort came at this track and she is seriously respected but ALEXA’S PRINCESS shaped very nicely at Ripon 18 days ago and her pedigree offers hope she’ll do much better over this distance.

14:10 – Lila Girl
By far the strongest claims are held by LILA GIRL (nap) who can complete a C&D hat-trick. Cry Havoc, the only older runner in the line-up, is well handicapped on the pick of her form and may be the best option for the forecast, with Adelaise third choice.
14:45 – Take A Stand
It’s possible to construct a case for several of these but the least exposed contender is TAKE A STAND and he can build on a promising handicap debut to notch his first win. Second choice is Ford Madox Brown, for whom the step back up in trip looks ideal, with Beauty Choice and G’daay also respected.
15:20 – Soft Whisper
Internationalangel’s impeccable C&D record is hard to ignore but narrow preference is for SOFT WHISPER whose Ascot win last time looks a solid piece of form. That pair stand out a bit from the rest, although Bounce The Blues has possibilities if handling the surface and She Do may build on her Lingfield reappearance.

15:55 – Shanko
Crimson Sand, Tolstoy and Mohareb (second choice) all have something to recommend them but perhaps the return to Polytrack will see SHANKO deliver on his undoubted early promise. He’s 2-2 at the track and could still rate higher.
16:30 – Punda Maria
Mcqueen has been knocking at the door and the change of headgear could have a positive effect. Shifter’s Yarmouth second has been well advertised since and she remains capable of better, while Belisa De Vega has a better chance than her form figures may indicate. PUNDA MARIA ran well dropped to 1m at Leicester ten days ago, however, and she might take some pegging back if repeating those tactics.

17:05 – Star Fortress
This seems to concern only STAR FORTRESS, Royal Invitation and Capstan for win purposes, preferred in that order following some disconcerting aspects to Capstan’s demeanour last time out. Star Fortress made a bright start to her career at Windsor, which seems to be better form than either of Royal Invitation’s AW runs last autumn.
17:40 – Enshrine
She had to work hard to score over 1m at Windsor last time when the 2-9 favourite but the promise of ENSHRINE‘s Newmarket debut is not forgotten yet and this further move up in trip should suit her. Sonnerie Power is the most likely to follow her home on current evidence but Flag Of Truth and Misty Dancer have had just one run apiece and any improvement would see them on the premises.
