14:30 – Baaeed, Real World, Chindit – Tricast
I’d be tempted to use the free Paddy Power bet to get a return on Baaeed, and move on. There’s only seven runners now and could be a replay of the Lockinge Stakes at Newbury when Baaeed beat Real World. think Baaeed will beat Real World, and Chindit could be third.

15:05 – Blackbeard (nap)
I’m with BLACKBEARD as I loved him at the Curragh, especially in how he went through the last furlong. He just about won over 5f but that was on slower ground when he beat Crispy Cat. He was so impressive when stepped up to 6f though. I know it’s unusual for trainer Aidan O’Brien to have won three juvenile races already with him ahead of a tilt at the Coventry Stakes, but I loved the way he went through the line for his last win.
15:40 – Mooneista (each-way)
Nature Strip is rated very highly in Australia and has form over 5f and 6f. He’s obviously a very fast horse and Australian sprinters are notoriously very good. He’s drawn near US challenger Golden Pal in stalls 10 and 12 respectively, which sets this up perfectly for an each-way fancy in MOONEISTA. He’s drawn in 14, just outside Golden Pal, and that will suit her as she will get a nice tow into the race.

16:20 – Lusail (each-way)
LUSAIL was on the wrong side in the 2,000 Guineas, where Coroebus was on the other side. Lusail got stopped just before he went into the dip, then got a bump on his way out of it. I don’t think it was the plan to drop him out in the 2,000 Guineas, he just missed the break and ended up in that position. Coroebus is the best horse in the race, but Lusail is a good each-way shout.
17:00 – Bring On The Night
Pied Piper definitely has better jump form than Bring On The Night, but it’s just in the back of my mind whether Pied Piper will stay or not? BRING ON THE NIGHT got 1m 4f as a three-year-old, I’d be fairly sure now as a five-year-old he will be just as strong in staying races. The Flat instead of having to jump hurdles will be a huge help to him and the better ground will be a big plus for him too. I’m not going to go against Bring On The Night.

17:35 – Foxes Tales
This is one of the hardest races on the card. My tentative choice is FOXES TALES, I don’t think he stayed 1m 4f at Newbury last time, even though it always looks like 1m 2f was a bit sharp for him. With Majestic Dawn likely to set a good gallop it will be a true test of stamina over 1m 2f which should suit him. A high draw at 16 is not a bad thing either.
18:10 – Okita Soushi
OKITA SOUSHI did really well at the Curragh behind Raise You on his last start. That was a strongly-run race and that was only his third start. A lot of horses got into difficulty on the inside draws last year, so being out wide in 14 will definitely suit. He’s open to more improvement as he’s lightly-raced.
