A couple of interesting performers from the Flat here headed by Chavajod, and of those with experience perhaps All Walks Of Life and Laser Focus have most scope for improvement. The one to beat should be EVENWOOD SONOFAGUN who will go close if reproducing his recent run at Cork.

Quite a weak contest. Coole Arcade has a very solid chance on his best form with the better ground in his favour. Preference is for DARKENED(nap), a winner on the Flat here last month whose second at Listowel last year over flights reads very well in the context of this race.
18:25 – La Prima Donna
Plenty of deadwood in here. Emily Roebling is a consistent mare and Feddans is a bumper winner with some decent hurdles form. Having been diverted from Killarney on Monday, this looks like an equally good opportunity for LA PRIMA DONNA and she should score.
18:55 – Clifftop
This will take on a different complexion if Golf Marin gets a run as first reserve. CLIFFTOP, though well beaten in a maiden last time, has a solid each-way chance in an open race. Nazine may have found 2m inadequate last time and is better judged on a 2m4f run at Leopardstown last Christmas. Drumbear faced only token opposition last time. Summer Tide could have his chance advertised in the market.

Not many of these count. Run For Pat is tried in blinkers here after staying this trip well at Ayr last time, while Whacker Clan has a solid chance on his Navan run in December. Preference is for SAMMY SMART after his second at Cork two weeks ago on his first try at this trip.
19:55 – Lucailem
With improvement on the cards following his reappearance here two weeks ago LUCAILEM is tipped to uphold form with Highland Penny. Nathaniels Dream has a strong chance if forgiven his last run. Handicap debutantes Merry Moves and Butty O’Brien make some appeal.
20:25 – Rath Gaul Boy
Despite meeting trouble in running RATH GAUL BOY was not beaten far in fifth in a Grade 2 bumper at Aintree. He sets a good standard and is preferred to stablemate Sir Argus who beat subsequent Ballinrobe winner The Last Mardi at Thurles in March.
