Oman, successful on this card 12 months ago, should be a big player again but the verdict goes to SPIRIT MIXER who has already had a run to blow away the cobwebs and could be ready to strike.

14:50 Sligo – Were On The Way (Racing Post)

There was a lot confidence behind WE’RE ON THE WAY when third at Navan last time. With a little improvement, he may step up two places. Wait A Little may prove the main danger. She has a better draw than the likes of Linus Larrabee, Purring Along and Kaswarah.

15:40 Newmarket – Tuesday (Irish Herald)

Newmarket trainer Michael Bell has sent just one runner here today and the well-bred SHIVRAJ could be a big improver now up in trip on his handicap debut, having been gelded. Overdraft is another very interesting handicap newcomer for the in-form John Quinn and he could be the chief threat ahead of his consistent stablemate Ba Na Hills.
