Each and every day of the racing year we bring you a bumper NAPs table to give you the inside scoop on all the plays you’ll need that day.

WELCOME TO PADDY POWER NEWS!

Don’t know what a NAPs table is? We’ll tell you! It’s an independently run competition involving the cream of the British and Irish racing press whose positions in the table are based on their profits to Level Stakes. And just like all sports competitions worldwide, those doing best are towards the top of the table.

So, we decided to put that golden guide to the test and use it to steer you towards what could be a savvy Lucky 15 (4 horses, 15 bets). The four you’ll see below are the selections of some of the top-performing tipsters in the table. Let’s get to the bets…

14:40 Goodwood – Primo Bacio (Irish Herald)

With no confirmed front-runner in the field, this could become tactical, but PRIMO BACIO should still take the beating. Her fifth in last year’s Falmouth Stakes is clearly the best form on offer and today’s trip and ground should be ideal. The 3yos may provide the sternest opposition, with Almohandesah (second choice) aiming to build on her good second in the Nell Gwyn and the once-raced Zanbaq open to any amount of improvement.

15:40 Newmarket – Native Trail (Racing Post)

The Charlie Appleby-trained NATIVE TRAIL has done everything that has been asked of him and can make it six out of six, adding to his two impressive Group 1 wins last season. His stablemate Coroebus also has the potential to be top class, having won the Group 3 Autumn Stakes over C&D last October in dominant fashion, and he’s feared most. The Group 1 Vertem Futurity Trophy winner Luxembourg has to be respected for Aidan O’Brien, along with Perfect Power who has every chance of staying 1m having kept on well to land the Greenham over 7f on his reappearance. Checkandchallenge, Eydon and Royal Patronage could go well at bigger odds, with Checkandchallenge perhaps the most interesting of those outsiders.

17:25 Newmarket – Ingra Tor (The Sun)

There wasn’t much to separate Anadora (first), Loves Me Likearock (second) and Harry Three (third) over C&D 17 days ago and they could be bang there once more. Harry Three challenged away from the other two and may be best of them today. However, there are two interesting runners towards the bottom of the weights who catch the eye. INGRA TOR is the first foal of connections’ C&D Listed winner Kassia and he’s taken to make a winning handicap debut, while the unexposed Vespasian is second choice as things did not go his way at Lingfield last time.

18:00 Doncaster – Papa Cocktail (sportinglife.com)

Ardbraccan (second choice) should go well upped to 1m on her reappearance but PAPA COCKTAIL returns to action with his stable in tremendous form and he can come out on top. Cephalus has much more on his plate than when making hay on the AW over the winter and handicap newcomer Barley is feared more.
