Dean Ivory’s runner put up a sharp performance to win here off a very similar mark under similar conditions last July. Admittedly he went missing on a few times subsequently, when hot in the market. A return to this venue having been freshened up over the winter will see him in a better light. He’s got a featherweight to carry and Hollie Doyle has been booked. Expect him to flash home fast and late.
14:25 – Ribhi
Ribhi popped up at a massive price on racecourse debut and then slightly disappointed in hotter company at Doncaster last season. However, that seem to be just a minor speed bump as he was thoroughly impressive when landing the odds on his third and final start at Salisbury. His ability to go well fresh will stand him in good stead. A big performance here could see him stepping up in class the season progresses.

15:00 – Megallan
He’s probably a touch unlucky to not have a few more victories on his CV, but Megallan has dipped his toe into some very hot company in the past and ran with credit without quite getting the rub of the green. From a physical standpoint, he was always the type who was going to improve with another winter on his back as a four-year-old.
15:35 – Rishes Baar
She went off at massive prices on all of her three starts as a juvenile and had no luck whatsoever when last seen over course and distance in October. Paddy has her at double-digit odds and she looks the solid each-way proposition in this line-up, despite having a little to find on ratings. They can all change dramatically throughout the winter and she looks set for a profitable three-year-old campaign.
