Each and every day of the racing year we bring you a bumper NAPs table to give you the inside scoop on all the plays you’ll need that day.

WELCOME TO PADDY POWER NEWS!

Don’t know what a NAPs table is? We’ll tell you! It’s an independently run competition involving the cream of the British and Irish racing press whose positions in the table are based on their profits to Level Stakes. And just like all sports competitions worldwide, those doing best are towards the top of the table.

So, we decided to put that golden guide to the test and use it to steer you towards what could be a savvy Lucky 15 (4 horses, 15 bets). The four you’ll see below are the selections of some of the top-performing tipsters in the table. Let’s get to the bets…

Cheltenham

13:42 Chepstow – Wildfire Warrior (Morning Star, Farringdon)

WILDFIRE WARRIOR is a low-mileage 7yo who bettered his low-key chasing debut when respectable fourth at Doncaster (2m4f, good) in February. Needs another step forward here but is unexposed at around 3m and has become very well handicapped on some of his hurdling form.

15:35 Ayr – History Of Fashion (Racing Ahead, Ben Morgan)

HISTORY OF FASHION won at Down Royal (3m, yielding) in January and unseated early when only 6-1 for the 4m1f Eider next time. Stayed on well for third at Navan (3m, soft) three weeks ago and this unexposed Irish raider could relish today’s extreme test of stamina.

16:45 Ayr – Getareason (Daily Post, Mercury)

GETAREASON took a step back in the right direction when third in a first-time visor (retained since) at Newcastle last month and built on that when winning there a fortnight ago (2m4f, good). Back up 4lb but he had 3l to spare and remains well treated on his old form. Can give another good account.

17:07 Chepstow – Mikhailovich (Steve Mullington)

MIKHAILOVICH is the second foal from unraced half-sister to smart chaser Royal Vacation. Stable has very good strike-rate in bumpers (20% in last five seasons). No surprise if he features on debut.
