Each and every day of the racing year we bring you a bumper NAPs table to give you the inside scoop on all the plays you’ll need that day.

WELCOME TO PADDY POWER NEWS!

Don’t know what a NAPs table is? We’ll tell you! It’s an independently run competition involving the cream of the British and Irish racing press whose positions in the table are based on their profits to Level Stakes. And just like all sports competitions worldwide, those doing best are towards the top of the table.

So, we decided to put that golden guide to the test and use it to steer you towards what could be a savvy Lucky 15 (4 horses, 15 bets). The four you’ll see below are the selections of some of the top-performing tipsters in the table. Let’s get to the bets…

Ludlow Races

14:55 Ludlow – Midnights Legacy (888 Sport, Steve Mullington)

Very useful Flat-racer who came good over hurdles in three-runner Plumpton novice (2m, good) in October; not seen in this sphere since short-odds defeat at Kempton (2m, good) the following month but, if his Flat form is a guide, there should be mileage in Midnights Legacy‘s opening handicap hurdle mark.

15:30 Ludlow – Head to the Stars (Racing Ahead, Ben Morgan)

Three-time C&D winner, most recently in December (good to soft); Head to the Stars posted another good effort here when second over C&D (soft) 25 days ago but probably doesn’t have much margin for error off current mark and today’s quicker ground is probably not ideal.

16:20 Hexham – Ruby Island (Daily Post, Mercury)

Out an unraced half-sister to useful bumper/2m2f hurdle and 2m6f chase winner Raven’s Run; 16-1 at Newcastle (2m, good to soft) 20 days ago but Ruby Island made some eyecatching late headway into a 5l third of 12; that was a promising start and she sets the standard on that form.

19:00 Newcastle – Bless Him (Morning Star, Farringdon)

Useful miler who is on a handy mark (last handicap win came off 1lb higher); Bless Him ended up with too much to do in the Lincoln Trial at Wolverhampton last time; however, has a question to answer back over 7f.
