Each and every day of the racing year we bring you a bumper NAPs table to give you the inside scoop on all the plays you’ll need that day.
WELCOME TO PADDY POWER NEWS!
Don’t know what a NAPs table is? We’ll tell you! It’s an independently run competition involving the cream of the British and Irish racing press whose positions in the table are based on their profits to Level Stakes. And just like all sports competitions worldwide, those doing best are towards the top of the table.
So, we decided to put that golden guide to the test and use it to steer you towards what could be a savvy Lucky 15 (4 horses, 15 bets). The four you’ll see below are the selections of some of the top-performing tipsters in the table. Let’s get to the bets…
14:20 Musselburgh – IDILICO (The Scotsman, Glendale)
Well beaten over C&D in first two chases but bounced back to form to cause 28-1 surprise over hurdles here (2m4f, soft) ten days ago; IDILICO competes off same mark today and it will be interesting to see whether he can get his act together over fences this time.
16:25 Lingfield – CAPRICORN PRINCE (Sunday Express)
17:20 Wincanton – ADRIEN DU PONT (Sheffield Star, Fortunatus)
ADRIEN DU PONT always been useful and he was 2-3 switched to hunter chases last spring, recording easy wins at Newbury (2m7f, good to soft) and Kempton (2m4f, good) before failing to stay 3m3f in major race at Stratford; leading player even with an 8lb penalty.
