Each and every day of the racing year we bring you a bumper NAPs table to give you the inside scoop on all the plays you’ll need that day.
WELCOME TO PADDY POWER NEWS!
Don’t know what a NAPs table is? We’ll tell you! It’s an independently run competition involving the cream of the British and Irish racing press whose positions in the table are based on their profits to Level Stakes. And just like all sports competitions worldwide, those doing best are towards the top of the table.
So, we decided to put that golden guide to the test and use it to steer you towards what could be a savvy Lucky 15 (4 horses, 15 bets). The four you’ll see below are the selections of some of the top-performing tipsters in the table. Let’s get to the bets…
15:50 Catterick – You Wear It Well (Sheffield Star)
She takes on males this time but YOU WEAR IT WELL had the form of her Ludlow second very well advertised when the winner impressed in a recent Listed race. She gets the vote ahead of Irish raider Cillians Charm, who was second to a subsequent bumper runner-up on his point debut in the autumn. Stroll On By and Horacio Apple’s should also feature.
16:40 Plumpton – Gaot (Racing Post)
She’s probably quirky but GAOT won’t find many better opportunities to win off her current mark. The ability is there, of that there’s no question. Bella Beau and Eventful, placed in the same race here last time, are respected once more and so too is Checkitsme.
18:30 Wolverhampton – Nate The Great (Sky Sports)
The signs look good for last year’s winner NATE THE GREAT, who is on a workable mark and whose recent efforts are very positive. Chipiron is in good form but he’s back up in trip/class, whereas Zeeband (second choice) and Military Two Step are 2m winners who remain fairly unexposed.
20:00 Wolverhampton – Dembe (The Times)
Hazel returned to form with a creditable second at Chelmsford last month and she’s respected on this drop back in trip/grade, but preference is for Brett Johnson’s unexposed four-year-old DEMBE, who scored in good style on his handicap debut at Kempton last Saturday and is open to further progress.
Today’s Lucky 15 tips:
15:50 Catterick – You Wear It Well
16:40 Plumpton – Gaot
18:30 Wolverhampton – Nate The Great
20:00 Wolverhampton – Dembe
