13:45 – Gentleman De Mee
It’s very difficult to look beyond GENTLEMAN DE MEE, who could be interesting for a Cheltenham Festival handicap chase if getting off the mark here on his third start in this sphere. Embrun Mitja is a useful operator in his own right and emerged from his latest effort with credit behind a stablemate of the selection.

14:20 – Western Sea
This is competitive but WESTERN SEA seems to love it at this venue and it’s probably worth forgiving a below-par run over hurdles last time having looked impressive over fences here on his penultimate outing. Nelly’s Money looks likely to be involved again and down at the other end of the weights, the in-form Lesssaidthebetter is worth another go over fences.
14:55 – Adamantly Chosen
It’s hard to oppose ADAMANTLY CHOSEN who has only been narrowly denied in two maiden hurdles so far and ought to be open to further progress. Smart Flat performer Barbados is the danger on just his second start in this sphere.
15:30 – Ash Tree Meadow
The unexposed ASH TREE MEADOW is probably the one to beat. He has to concede weight to his rivals but he’s progressing with each run and he’s the potential improver in the line up. Il Courra and The Little Yank can fight it out for the minor honours with preference for the former who gets his optimum conditions.

16:00 – Falcon Eight
The experience gained last time in a hot maiden hurdle over shorter should stand FALCON EIGHT in good stead and he gets the vote over French bumper recruit Haxo, for whom the market might prove informative. Run For Pat is surely better than his last run and is not out of this by any means.
16:30 – Shean Glory
Not the strongest handicap hurdle and SHEAN GLORY (nap) might be the one to take advantage having run well over an insufficient 2m at Limerick last week and she’s entitled to come on for that first run in five months. Round The Buoy, a winner last time, should be involved again despite a 12lb hike and he rates as the main danger to the selection.

17:00 – Omoore Park
A reproduction of his near-miss at Fairyhouse should make O’MOORE PARK difficult to beat, although well-bred newcomer I Am Fortunata is an intriguing contender. Francis Marion is likely better than he showed last time and could pick up some prize money at an each-way price, while debutant Sky Sprinter represents leading connections.
