Slate House carries top weight in the Class 3 Handicap Chase at Taunton as he bids to get back in the winner’s enclosure for the first time since scoring in the Grade 1 Kauto Star Novices’ Chase in December 2019. A Class 3 Mares’ Novices’ Hurdle also features on the card.

Hometown Hero, a point-to-point winner in Ireland, attempts to break his maiden status over hurdles at the fourth time of asking in the Class 3 Novices’ Hurdle at Market Rasen. There’s also all-weather racing under the lights at Southwell from 5pm.
