16:30 – Art Expert
On the back of a solid second at Southwell, ART EXPERT could well go one better and open his account. A few others are still open to improvement at this level, notably Little Raven who is second choice behind the selection. Twistaline remains of interest.

17:00 – One Hart
The return to this level looks an interesting move for ONE HART, who comfortably defied a higher weight in this race last year on his sole attempt in claiming grade. Mudlahhim (second choice) and I Am A Dreamer look the biggest threats on these terms.
17:30 – Desert Lime
Preference is for the unexposed DESERT LIME (nap), who proved suited by the return to 6f and fitting of cheekpieces when a good second here ten days ago. That form has been franked since and she has solid claims off the same mark. Last-time-out scorers Impeach (second choice) and Patsy Fagan are respected, while Water Of Leith has possibilities if he settles better.
18:00 – Byford
It’s best to concentrate on the four C&D winners, who are all in good form at present and look very solid. Slight preference is for BYFORD, who still has low mileage and may be capable of a bit more improvement. Alexander James is second choice, narrowly ahead of Society Red and Precision Storm.

18:30 – Rainbow Dreamer
The winner of this race in 2020 and a close second last year, RAINBOW DREAMER holds leading claims. He did not run to his peak form at Newcastle last month but commands respect even on that effort. Clap Your Hands, who may resume his progress back up in distance, is feared most. He’s a lot less exposed than the selection’s stablemate Coeur De Lion.
19:00 – Grand Alliance
This race features an interesting rematch between Base Note and GRAND ALLIANCE, who finished second and fourth in a novice event here four weeks ago. With improvement on the cards, the latter may well reverse those placings. Base Note is still respected, while Kempton fourth Zain Sarinda is the other main form contender. Market confidence behind interesting newcomer Marmalashes should be heeded.

19:30 – Billy Roberts
Almufeed did the job in authoritative fashion when backed for a C&D handicap 12 days ago and further progress from him must be feared. However, BILLY ROBERTS is going great guns here at the moment and he gets a narrow vote. Allowed was third to the selection last time and, very lightly raced, he is second on the list today. Barely a length covered the first eight home when the reliable Diamond Jill scored over C&D on Boxing Day but it’s possible that the first-time blinkers helped her and they are retained today.
