Punchestown gets the show on the road with a Beginners Chase at 11.45am as Albert Bartlett Novices’ Hurdle eighth Torygraph attempts to make it third time lucky over fences before the National Hunt action begins on the other side of the Irish Sea at Warwick.

There is afternoon racing on the all-weather track at Lingfield with the Class 2 Handicap over 1m being the feature on the card. The final meeting of the day – and the year – to get going is at Uttoxeter.
