16:00 – Yonafis
Mr Big Stuff was a promising third behind a very useful newcomer at Nottingham last month and looks interesting if he can build on that. Canters Well recorded an RPR of 79 in his last two runs in Ireland and is respected on his stable debut, while Charlie Fellowes’ well-bred newcomers need watching in the market. However, the one that appeals most is YONAFIS, who made a bright start when landing the odds at Lingfield 16 days ago and is open to plenty of progress for his top yard.

16:30 – Themoonsaballoon
Sir Mark Prescott’s THEMOONSABALLOON didn’t really fire when fourth at Kempton 17 days ago but she lost a shoe in that race and sets a good standard here on her second at Wolverhampton in October. She looks worth another chance on this step up in trip and may well be able to make it fourth time lucky. Last month’s Lingfield runner-up Percy Jones is the main form danger, though there are several newcomers who need watching in the market including Beny Nahar Road, who is a half-brother to a 1m2f Group 1 winner.

17:00 – Alphonse Le Grande
ALPHONSE LE GRANDE was a big eye-catcher behind Jabbar at Newcastle last time (likely to have been involved in the finish with a clear run) and he looks ready to strike. Jabbar showed improved form himself to get off the mark making nursery debut in a first-time visor and is the obvious threat again.
17:30 – Sky Power
High Commissioner and Byford, preferred in that order, are in-form candidates but so is SKY POWER who emerged on top with a change in tactics at Lingfield last time and may again be able to launch a telling challenge.

18:00 – Bascule
Top of the list is the progressive BASCULE, who finished well when completing a hat-trick over C&D last month and still looks feasibly treated off his revised mark. The main dangers could be Marshall Plan (second choice), who made a bold bid when runner-up behind the selection here last time, and Moliwood, who made it 3-5 in handicaps with his brave win at Wolverhampton 26 days ago.
18:35 – Internationalangel
Polytrack specialist Mohareb could make a big impact if he can rediscover his spark back on this surface, while Papa Stour was a good second in a Class 2 event here last time and is respected on this drop back in grade. However, it is hard to get away from the major improver INTERNATIONALANGEL (nap), who has won five of her last six starts and made it 3-3 over C&D with a comfortable success two weeks ago.
19:05 – Le Reveur
LE REVEUR arrives on a losing run but signalled he’s ready to strike again when an excellent second at Kempton so he gets the vote. In-form Poet’s Eye is next on the list with C&D scorer El Camino and top weight Brunel Charm also highly respected.
