13:45 Newcastle – Nastasiya
NASTASIYA looked to have a fairly promising racing career ahead of her after putting up a tidy performance on her racecourse debut at Haydock for Ed Walker. She was a little disappointing after that over a variety of trips and was sold at the horses-in-training sale for a whopping 29,000 guineas. So far, she’s been hurdling, but a switch back onto the level on a synthetic surface over this distance looks sure to suit.
HELLO FROM PADDY POWER NEWS!
15:30 Newcastle – Beauzon
Daniel Tudhope returns to the saddle for only the second time after a back injury and it appears that his main stable has found him an ideal opportunity to get on the scoresheet. Two third-placed efforts at Kempton last time and over this course and distance previously, has seen the handicapper nudge BEAUZON up slightly in the weights. Given a smoother passage and a pinch of luck, he can return to the winners’ enclosure.

16:30 Newcastle – Millionaire Waltz
MILLIONAIRE WALTZ has found the winning habit for new trainer Ben Haslam and looks the solid option going for the four timer. His hold-up style should suit the run of the race with Spartan Fighter likely to go forward. If he gets pestered on the front-end, it should set it up nicely for Millionaire Waltz to power home late on.

17:15 Wolverhampton – Tribal Commander (Each-Way)
TRIBAL COMMANDER is stepping onto the all-weather for the first time, but that has proven no barrier to success for Ian Williams’ outfit – especially around here. He’s a proven stayer having won over this distance at Chepstow previously, admittedly from slightly lower in the weights. We have a capable 3lbs claimer Benjamin Sanderson in the plate to negate that. He should not be underestimated back on the level at a nice each-way price.
19:15 Wolverhampton – Shallow Hal
SHALLOW HAL run an absolute cracker when switched back onto a synthetic surface last time in a red-hot six-furlong contest at Chelmsford. The yard is in top form at the moment, and the likely favourite Muscika appears to just about be in the grip of the handicapper. Shallow Hal is pretty straightforward and will be ridden handy or bang on the pace.
19:45 Wolverhampton – Sands of Time
SANDS OF TIME looked pretty good on her racecourse debut winning over the minimum distance at Lingfield. She also ran a cracker there last time, when trying to make all, but was pestered up on the front-end and she was nailed late on. Sands of Time has an inside position to attack from and provided she gets it right at the gate, hopefully she can get loose up on the front-end in the lucky last.
