Each and every day of the racing year we bring you a bumper NAPs table to give you the inside scoop on all the plays you’ll need that day.

Don’t know what a NAPs table is? We’ll tell you! It’s an independently run competition involving the cream of the British and Irish racing press whose positions in the table are based on their profits to Level Stakes. And just like all sports competitions worldwide, those doing best are towards the top of the table.

So, we decided to put that golden guide to the test and use it to steer you towards what could be a savvy Lucky 15 (4 horses, 15 bets). The four you’ll see below are the selections of some of the top performing tipsters in the table. Let’s get to the bets…

HELLO FROM PADDY POWER NEWS!

14:00 Warwick – The Glancing Queen (Racing Post)

A 5lb penalty asks a serious question of her but THE GLANCING QUEEN was just about the pick of these over hurdles and it looks as though she will be every bit as effective over fences. Kapard beat the boys at Navan and is a dangerously unexposed 5yo who has travelled over from Ireland. All of the runners command respect, however.

14:20 Newcastle – Pay The Piper (The i)

The bottom three are all some way out of the weights and this should revolve around Cornerstone Lad and PAY THE PIPER. The former ran well back in this sphere last month and should make a bold bid off a sliding mark but preference is for Ann Hamilton’s 6yo Pay The Piper. He’s run creditably behind smart rivals over longer trips in his last two runs and looks potentially well treated back in a 2m handicap.

14:50 Newcastle – Contemplatemyfaith (The Guardian)

Hurdle debut winners Captain Quint and Crystal Glory are open to improvement, especially the former now he’s tackling a longer trip, but CONTEMPLATEMYFAITH receives weight from both of them and that tips things in his favour. He was third in a warm little novice hurdle at Lingfield last month and that form reads well.

15:10 Taunton – Nickolson (The Sun)

There were only two finishers when NICKOLSON was second on last month’s chasing debut at Warwick but that was a very good race and he pushed a useful rival all the way to the line. He moves back into a handicap off an unchanged mark here and gets the vote. Glajou ran okay over hurdles here on his seasonal reappearance and has good claims if judged on his third to Master Work in this race last year but the biggest threat to the selection could be Quoi De Neuf, who lurks on a dangerous mark.

Thursday tips:

14:00 Warwick – The Glancing Queen
14:20 Newcastle – Pay The Piper
14:50 Newcastle – Contemplatemyfaith
15:10 Taunton – Nickolson
