Having run Morning Soldier close on debut and posted another solid run since then, TRENT (nap) should just about be able to reverse those placings on 5lb better terms today. Atlantic Island shouldn’t be underestimated, while Doitforandrew has a bit to do on ratings with the selection. Fortune Maker is most interesting of the newcomers.

Not a strong race and it can go the way of PRINCESS RAJJ. The form of her recent second here has been boosted since and she may find improvement with cheekpieces fitted for the first time. Satin Snake might progress back up in trip and Chattahoochee wasn’t too far behind the selection in an improved run last time.
15:40 Beleaguerment
This is competitive but BELEAGUERMENT is taken to reverse form with Hell Left Loose. The pair went close here last week and the former is 3lb better off with a kinder draw this time. Adams Barbour looks well handicapped and he’s an obvious threat if he can get in from his wide draw.
16:10 Lyra Belacqua
This could be a good chance for LYRA BELACQUA to get off the mark. She ran well in a maiden here last month and she can improve stepping back up in trip with the Champion Jockey booked. Last week’s runner-up Old Tom Higgins is an obvious threat for a yard flying and Eagle Terrace may be capable of progress now handicapping.
16:40 International Lady
This couldn’t be much more competitive and it’s hard to rule any of these out. Recent winner Timourid seems on a good mark and similar can be said for Adelisa who might be able to give Cian Horgan his first winner. However, the tentative vote goes the way of INTERNATIONAL LADY who had excuses last time when caught wide and she may have more to give at this trip. Very Excellent is a danger to all if allowed to dominate from the front.
