12:30 – Notoriously Risky

Little to choose between Mickey The Steel and NOTORIOUSLY RISKY on Navan form and they both like track and ground but the latter gets narrow preference. Inishmot Prince could well get a lot closer to that pair with a run under his belt.

13:00 – Heart To Heart

With the form of her maiden win at Navan working out so well, HEART TO HEART is chosen to capitalise on what could be a lenient mark. Plenty have chances including the hat-trick seekers Rhythm Of Zain and Mister Wilson while Tartan Skirt and Seeingisbelieving are interesting handicap debutants for in-form yards.

13:35 – Sounds Of Spring

Plenty of these are proven on the ground but SOUNDS OF SPRING (nap) did nothing wrong when second here last time and should go well from the same mark. Shelly Banks and Mi Esperanza come here in good heart as does Pretty Boy Floyd who goes well for Colin Keane.

14:10 – Navajo Warrior

A very deep maiden in which the market may prove the best guide to the several interesting newcomers from leading yards. Of the horses with form, NAVAJO WARRIOR shaped encouragingly on debut at Gowran last time and looks the one to side with. Impero is also a big danger after his Leopardstown effort. Bridgehead can’t be ruled out either.

14:45 – Saltonstall

Seven-time winner SALTONSTALL has not managed to add to his score during a successful year for his stable. He may rectify matters now, bearing in mind that he was in the form of his life at around this time last year. He will like the ground, as will the relatively unexposed Wuqood who is respected despite a likely preference for a longer trip. Laelaps and Dance Jupiter could get into the money.

15:15 – The Blue Brilliant

The best could be yet to come from THE BLUE BRILLIANT who went very close to winning a 1m2f Group 3 event at Deauville in August. She has won over 1m3f in lesser company and may outstay the more accomplished Patrick Sarsfield, up in distance and down in class here. Camorra is sure to stay and should go well despite a big burden. Sweet Molly Malone was a revelation here last time and should not be far away if showing the same level of form.

15:45 – Lynwood Gold

A typically competitive renewal. LYNWOOD GOLD is more exposed that many of these, but he ran a fine race when fifth in the Cesarewitch on his recent stable debut, and he left the impression he could have a bit more left in the locker. Willie Mullins is well represented with Maze Runner and Royal Illusion perhaps the pick of his contenders. Arcadian Sunrise, Coltor and Powerful Aggie are amongst any amount of dangers.

16:15 – Team Of Firsts

Colin Keane has a good chance of ending a superb campaign on a winning note. Blinkers may have the desired effect on lightly-raced heavy-ground winner TEAM OF FIRSTS, a beaten favourite at Navan last time. Loingseoir has won three times this year for Annalise Cullen and has definite prospects. Rosmana and Overheer ran well on the same Leopardstown card last time and could feature.
