17:10 Son And Sannie

Leodis Dream ran well at Windsor last week and should be involved, while Show Me Show Me can feature if on one of his good days. Electric Love and Peerless could have further progress in them, but SON AND SANNIE ran very well at York last time and he could prove the answer.

NEW TO PADDY POWER?

17:40 Marks Bear

Consistency has been an issue for Manigordo this season, but there’s no doubt he’s capable of winning off this mark and he ran a stormer on the wrong side in the Great St Wilfrid 12 days ago. He’s up against a couple of progressive three-year-olds here in the shape of MARKS BEAR and Akkeringa, and Gary Moore’s improving sprinter can gain his second win in this series.

18:10 Dinoo

The likely quick ground will be to the advantage of Golden Force and Mamillius and both are entitled to plenty of respect, but the unexposed three-year-old DINOO (NAP) comes into this in good heart having easily got off the mark in a Haydock novice last time. He still has the scope to go on to better things. Larado hasn’t been with Mick Appleby for long and looks best of the others.

18:40 Billhilly

This looks fiercely competitive. Hong Kong Harry and Carolus Magnus have the potential to progress further, but they are returning from an absence in a warm race. La Maquina is a lively outsider, while Sincerest could take a step forward back on turf, but BILLHILLY gets the nod. He has gone from strength-to-strength for Charlie Fellowes this year and he may still be ahead of the handicapper.

19:10 Mykonos St John

Irish raider Witham River still has untapped potential, but it took him a long time to hit top gear when second at the Curragh last time and this track poses a very different test. Oslo has the ability to feature, while Anythingtoday and Amy Beach also have something to recommend them. MYKONOS ST JOHN needs a bit more progress to come out on top, but the return to the all-weather and the additional distance could be the catalysts for such improvement.

19:40 Powerful Aggie

A few of these have been making the running so this should be truly run. Things didn’t go to plan for POWERFUL AGGIE when upped to this trip here, but the way she charged home suggests that the likely strong pace will suit and she ought to have improvement in her.

Corbulo has been having a tremendous time on turf and he cannot be ruled out over the new trip, with a sibling having smart form on the all-weather over 1m 4f. Cozone also has a big run in him, but things look more complicated for Sword Beach this time.
