Some interesting newcomers are on show, including expensive breeze-up purchase Clitheroe, Picual and Silk Romance, while Banshee should appreciate this longer distance. TINDERBOX may be the answer, however, with her debut second at Newmarket coming behind a useful filly. She’s open to plenty of improvement too.
18:55 – Dubai Hope
Camerata is the pick of those with experience and she should be involved but there are some interesting newcomers in opposition. Closing Bell and Magnificence are considered but DUBAI HOPE won’t have to live up to her pedigree to make a winning debut.

Prontissimo and Riknnah are respected 3yos but there is still a fire burning in the veteran FLAMING SPEAR (nap) and, with a few of these happiest on the sharp end, he could find this being run to suit. He wasn’t able to show his best at Wolverhampton last time but he’ll have a bit longer to get organised at this track and he can pounce late. Highfaluting shouldn’t be far away either.
19:55 – Golden Claim
Quite an interesting race of its type with a case to be argued for most of the nine runners. Graystone should quickly bounce back from a low-key run on bad ground, while Waleyfa, Goodwood Glen and Wurlitzer all have something to recommend them. GOLDEN CLAIM could manage only fourth over C&D last week but it was still a run that offered hope of better and he can gain a third win of his productive campaign.
20:25 – Heath Rise
Flower Of Thunder could benefit from this new trip, while Lucky Draw would be a threat to all if gifted an easy lead. HEATH RISE ran his best race to date when second at Windsor nine days ago and a repeat would likely be good enough to break his duck.
