16:10 Pontefract – Regal Reality
REGAL REALITY doesn’t win too many races for a horse of his ability, but he looks to have been found an ideal opportunity here dropping back down into Listed company. The form of his recent run behind Tilsit in the Summer Mile Stakes at Ascot is rock solid and gives him a big edge in this particular line-up. Ryan Moore makes the journey up to Yorkshire to ride, and it’s very rare he goes north and returns empty-handed.

16:20 Musselburgh – Asdaa
ASDAA has been a model of consistency since switching across to this trainer and proved he is in unstoppable form with a very gutsy win at Wolverhampton last time. He has some pretty solid course form to his name around here and he seems totally flexible as regards ground conditions. That is a major positive given the unsettled forecast. He is pretty adaptable tactics wise as well, which is ideal for an apprentice contest.
16:45 Musselburgh – Hi Meh Darling
HI MEH DARLING looks to be starting off down at the right rating for her second try in a nursery handicap. Her first effort was very solid when posting a strong second place finish last time, added to that she drops back down in distance.
That should suit after being incredibly keen in the early stages last time, and she did well to finish off her race so strongly. She’s drawn up on the stand side, so it’s a case of point and shoot for the jockey.
17:45 Musselburgh – Rising Star
RISING STAR managed to win a couple on the all-weather last term, but has bucked that trend with some very good form on switch back onto the turf this season – especially last time out. That very strong form from Newmarket and put her bang in the mix, along with one or two other improvers like Real Terms. However, the Newmarket form looks stronger than Real Terms’ from Wetherby and she can make the long trip north to Scotland pay off.
18:15 Musselburgh – Eton College
Again, we are sticking with some strong course and distance form, although ETON COLLEGE is drawn a little wide on the course over the long sprint distance. He’s stablemate Fred looks the pace drawn down towards his right-hand side, so he should get an ideal tow into the contest. The form of his Leicester third behind Masabit it’s very strong given that runners improving profile, and he can gain another success for his consistency.
