WHO IS THE FAVOURITE FOR THE GRAND NATIONAL 2021?

Cloth Cap emerged as the favourite for the Grand National after 2018 and 2019 winner Tiger Roll withdrew from the 2021 renewal as a result of connections disagreeing with the 11st 9lb handicap.

The Jonjo O’Neill-trained nine-year-old’s comprehensive win in the Premier Chase at Kelso in early March further solidified his position at the head of the market. Cloth Cap is rated a full stone ahead of the handicapper after the 7½l victory and is set to carry 10st 5lb in the big race.

Burrows Saint, Any Second Now and Minella Times are all prominent in the betting. The rest of the field are between 12/1 to 125/1.
