Ruby Walsh:
I like two horses that didn’t win at the Cheltenham Festival last year but could win there this year. The first, Elixir D’Ainay, is one I really like and could be on to follow between 2m and 2 1/2m. The second is The Big Getaway he’s one to follow between 2 1/2m and 3m. That’s my two picks, two novice chasers.

Paddy Power:
I like Envoi Allen. Straight after Cheltenham, I said if there’s one horse I could pick up and take home it would be Envoi Allen. Keep and eye on the horse who finished third in the RSA, Allaho. It could be a Ryanair horse this year and maybe a Gold Cup horse in time as well.
Ryan McCue (Trader):
The first of my two horses to follow this National Hunt season is Eskylane trained by Gorgon Elliot. He won his maiden hurdle over 2m but he could end up in something like the Ballymore Novice Hurdle at the Cheltenham Festival. My second horse to follow is Ribble Valley trained by Nicky Richards. The trainer has taken his time with him and I think he could reap the rewards at the end of the season if the ground is coming up soft.
Matt Chapman:
I like two realty exciting horses, they’re both trained by Nicky Henderson. The first is Shishkin, you’ll remember him winning the Supreme Novices’ Hurdle at Cheltenham. He could be an incredible novice chaser and is the Antepost favourite for the Arkle. The other is Santini who I think will win the Cheltenham Gold Cup in 2021. I wasn’t a great believer in Santini before the Gold Cup but he proved me wrong and I’m going to stick with him in 2021
Niall O’Reilly (Trader):
Abracadabras, trained by Gordon Elliot, was a really unlucky second in the Supreme Novices’ Hurdle last year. I was really taken by how he travelled through that race and he’s got all the attributes necessary to compete in the Champion Hurdle this year. Third Time Lucki is trained by Dan Skelton. He was a very eye-catching fourth in the Champion Bumper last year. I was really taken by how he jumped hurdles on his reappearance at Uttoxeter this year and he can go right to the top of that division this season.
Mick Fitzgerald:
I have to start with a Nicky Henderson horse called Pipesmoker. He is one to be on the right side of, I really like him. He’s gone really well over the summer and I think he can be a good bet in one of those Novice Hurdles. The other one is trained by Harry Fry and is a horse called Boothill. The bumper that he won at Kempton is working out really well. He beat a smart horse from Nicky Henderson that day and the horses that were third and firth have both won so, lots of winners have come out of that race.
