There was more than a hint of class about the rout of FINEST EVERMORE at Cork and she should remain unbeaten since joining Willie Mullins. Futurum Regem appeals as forecast value.
14:30 Bread And Butter
A cracking handicap, with The Trigger aiming for his sixth successive win. Sky Marshal and Humm Baby may fight hard to defy both the veteran and BREAD AND BUTTER, who is at the other end of his career.
15:00 Warreedy
Denis O’Regan gave WARREEDY a brilliantly patient ride when steering the 11-year-old to a facile win over fences at Roscommon. The runner-up Rudy Catrail (gave 15lb) re-opposes here and held the form in a decent light when sent back over hurdles at Wexford 12 days ago.
He should get closer to our selection on today’s terms but will do well to get his revenge. Double Windsor could be a bigger danger.
15:30 Call His Bluff
Successful with a chaser at Tramore on Friday, Niall Hennessy has another lively looking one here in the shape of the recent Cork third CALL HIS BLUFF. The step up in trip should bring out the best in this former point winner and he will be no outsider this time round.
Rippon Lodge is closely matched with our selection on Cork form and has shaped well twice in the interim. He looks the main danger.
16:00 Thalitleozibatler
Western Run is the form horse coming here, but if he has good enough form to account for a smart newcomer is questionable, and one that fits the bill as a likely winner on debut is the Willie Mullins-trained THALITLEOZIBATLER.
With the stable in typically good form in bumpers, he is not easy to oppose here.
