An open and interesting handicap but COLONEL WHITEHEAD did well to win on his first attempt over 7 furlongs here, when there was enough in the manner of his victory to think he can cope with a 6lb rise.
Alfie Solomons was ridden to get the trip behind the selection and also has claims along with What An Angel, not far away in quite a competitive C&D handicap two starts ago.
Blessed and Claudius Secundus are others who give the impression they can step up on their existing form.

There are three possible sources of improvement for FORMALITY and he gets the verdict. Second choice is the similarly unexposed Calatrava, ahead of Wild Hero.
