15:00 at Goodwood – Manuela De Vega
I think Manuela De Vega is much better than last year when she got stuffed by Enbihaar. MANUELA DE VEGA was a five-length second that day but looks to have improved and hopefully can go close.
I’ll stick with Manuela De Vega.
15:35 Goodwood – Kimifive (each-way)
I was down to two, Gulliver and Kimifive and I’m going to go for Kimifive. I think Frank Hickey’s tipped this one before a few times and it’s one I’ve kept my eye on.
It’s always kind of knocking on the door on some of these big handicaps and I just think this could be the time.
Joseph Tuite is a really shrewd trainer when it comes to handicaps and obviously Cieren Fallon is a decent little jockey as well. So I think at the price each way, Kimifive.
17:15 Galway – Halimi (e/w), Takarengo (e/w)
Princess Zoe is the obvious one and you could see it happening. Halimi, the Bolger winner the other day, was very impressive. Not sure you can bring the whole stable into form with that but he hasn’t had many runners.
So Halimi is interesting to me as well. I was looking at Takarengo as well for Tom Mullins drawn one, and I think that might be an each way shout as well.
