14:15 at Goodwood – Admiral Nelson
I was looking at The Coventry and a horse that was stopped and very disappointing in the Coventry, Admiral Nelson.
I just think if they’re going to send him across to have another go then maybe there was an excuse for the Coventry run and there may be cause for optimism.
14:45 at Goodwood – English King
I’ve gone for English King. I’m just thinking the The Derby might actually have been a decent race. Maybe Frank Hickey is right to be crying out that there was some sort of tactical thing that got him beat and he should have finished second, but I’m going to stick with English King and give him one more go.
15:15 at Goodwood – Fancy Blue
I am going French here. I was going to go for Tawkeel but I see he’s now a non-runner so I will switch to Fancy Blue and stick with the French form.
17:45 at Galway – Russian Diamond
I went for Russian Diamond. It’s a little bit of a lick your finger and stick it up in the air job, though.
18:45 at Galway – Tudor City (e/w)
I’m going for Tudor City again, following up Tony Martin and John Breslin the owner. He’s been here and done that. Good value for an each-way shout.
