Is the Galway Races 2020 on?

Yes, albeit behind closed doors. While the UK will be allowing 5,000 people to watch the final day of Glorious Goodwood, the wait continues on the other side of the Irish Sea.

When is the Galway Races 2020?

While many things have been affected by Coronavirus, the date of the Summer Festival has not changed and it remains in its traditional slot in the calendar. It runs for seven days and kicks off on Monday 27th of July right through to Sunday 2nd of August.

Is there jumps and flat racing at Galway?

Yes – you’ve got a bit of both.

Flat racing: Monday, Tuesday, Saturday, Sunday

Jump racing: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday

What time does Galway Races start each day?

Monday: 4.40pm
Tuesday: 4.45pm
Wednesday: 4.45pm
Thursday: 4.45pm
Friday: 4.45pm
Saturday: 2.35pm
Sunday: 2.45pm

Where can I watch the Galway Races live and free?

You will be able to watch every bit of the action on Racing TV throughout the week and selected races on RTE television.
