Onward proved a disappointment last time, but he was part of a contested early pace, and perhaps needed the run following a three-month layoff. In first-time blinkers, he is worth another chance in a race that doesn’t have a great deal of depth to it.

Classy Lynn has had excuses in defeat on her last two starts and this return to the same course and distance (C&D) as her wide-margin win in February seems sure to show her in a better light. Sundrenched appeals most of the remainder, while Classy of Course deserves respect as well.

Tampa Bay 21:30 – Bueno Bueno Bueno @ 11/4 

Bueno Bueno Bueno came from just off a fast pace to grab a narrow win over shorter here last time and should get another good trip just in behind the main speed this time. Fortlite should find the return to this trip a good move and is likely to be thereabouts as well. Credit Cycle shouldn’t be far away either.

Will Rogers 21:15 – Town Champ @ 7/4 

Town Champ has been at the top of his game so far this year at Oaklawn and is taken to continue in a similar vein on his first start for a new barn at Will Rogers. Minister of Soul also comes here in good form and can come out best of the remainder. Lawton is another that merits a closer.

Will Rogers 22:45 – Shesomajestic @ 11/4 

Shesomajestic was below form when last seen at Sunland in March but has now joined a barn that has been in good form with its handful of runners at this track. Girls a Bullet has run well to be placed on her last two outings and looks the biggest threat, while Pretty Britches may be best of the rest.

Fonner Park 00:42 – Dirty Dixie Road

Dirty Dixie Road has been performing consistently of late and should go well again for a trainer that has been in fine form recently. You’re the Reason is another that seems sure to go well, while Memories Galore also makes the shortlist.
