KIPPER has a 543-day absence to overcome in this maiden special weight, but certainly boasts a good level of form and the jockey booking is a big positive on his return. He can get the better of these newcomers, of which the most interesting are Sweet Medicine and Read The River.

DR. BAGLEY completed a double when landing a similar event on his first start at this venue last month and is fancied to complete the hat-trick, possibly at the main expense of He’s No Saint and Far Out Kailee.

DEJA SUE could hardly have been more impressive when landing a 6f maiden here last month and, with scope for further progress, she is taken to successfully handle this rise in class. Sunday’s Vision and Righteous Mover are serious threats.

ALEX’S BOURBON recorded a double here before a good second in a better event than this last month and has strong claims now back down in class. That said, Ten Count Out is a big threat as she bids for a C&D double and Papa Mambo should give another good account.

Will Rogers Downs 23.15 – Eagle Pass @ 13/2 

EAGLE PASS made the most of a drop in class and switch to this venue when landing a similar event here last month and looks the safest bet in his bid to follow up. Class dropper Hunka Burning Love and and Tour De Force are serious threats.

Will Rogers Downs 23.45 – Buck Duane @ 11/4 

A tricky finale and only a tentative vote goes to BUCK DUANE, who gets a notable drop in class and should now be cherry-ripe after two starts back this year. Atomic Candy and Ginge look the main threats.
