Think the track will stay in the soft range and worth noting a 20-30km/h south-westerly wind, which could have an impact on how the 1400+ races are run. There will be a headwind in the back straight so may suit horses with cover. The 1000-1200m races shouldn’t be affected with them coming out of a chute and it will be a tailwind in the home straight.
Race 1: POSTCODE @ 13/8
Untamed is the favourite and expecting it to drift and want to be around it so I settled on POSTCODE who was a strong winner last start. He’s on the quick 7 day back up and I am expecting it to be hard to run down.
Race 2: MIRRA VISION @ 11/2
Was heavily supported last start and looked disappointing to the eye but I think it was in the inferior ground along the inside so I am willing to give Mirra Vision one more chance in a very open race.

Race 3: ELECTRIC GIRL @ 15/4
Three year old with the minimum weight taking on the older horses, she has been busting the clock and also running good late splits. Group 1 winning jockey goes on. Great each-way bet.
Race 4: FORBIDDEN LOVE @ 16/1
Really tricky race, but I have sided with a horse at a big price that defied its price on debut when it ran very good late sectionals to win despite being wide the entire trip. Progressive horse and seems good value.
Race 5: COSMIC FORCE @ 9/4
Well placed back to his own age here, he started favourite last start in a Group 1 against the older horses but things just didn’t pan out. Its best is too good for these.
Race 6: COLETTE @ 5/4
Collette was smashing the clock in lesser grade and then last start she came to town and was brilliant in winning at 2000m. I think the 2400m won’t pose a problem especially with her being on the quick 7 day back up.
Race 7: RAHEEN HOUSE @ 13/2
YOUNG RASCAL is marked the favourite but just wanted to be with something coming out of a fast run race and RAHEEN HOUSE fits the bill. He was impressive on his last start and two out of the last five winners of this race have come out of the Chairmans which it won.
Race 8: ADDEYBB @ 10/3
What a race. Grab a bag of popcorn and sit back and watch the show. DANON PREMIUM is world class as is AADEYBB. I sided with ADDEYBB just because he has had a run here and was very good. Horse he beat subsequently blitzed in the 2400m Group 1 last week.
Race 9: SWEET DEAL (each-way) @ 16/1
Tricky race, short-priced favourite FUNSTAR disappointed on her last start. If she returns to her best she will be winning but it’s hard to fall into that again with her. Went with SWEET DEAL who maps beautifully from gate 2 so expected to be on speed. She was 28 days between runs on her last start when was heavily supported and she just knocked up late. Now 14 days between runs, at the price I think she will run a big race.
Race 10: SOOTHING @ 12/1
Tough way to finish but went with a horse who’s best three figures have been on big tracks and this is what Randwick is all about. At double-figure odds if it can be presented at the right time, he has a great turn of foot that can win this race.
