He has dropped to a very attractive mark of 67 and looks capable of taking advantage of this drop in class for trainer Alan Bailey.
He has top weight, though the brilliant Cieren Fallon takes off a free 5lbs, so he is effectively running off 62 here. The race looks competitive on paper, though you can put a line through plenty and I don’t think any are potentially as well treated as the selection.
There’s a small question mark about the 7f trip but Sirius Slew is well drawn in stall four and should get a good position.
I think he’ll just about get away with it.
