Matt Chapman: Frankie’s Dante mount looks Too Darn Hot for the rest

This one should outclass his rivals, according to Matt

The ITV cameras are back at York on Thursday – so once again there are winners to be found in the sunshine.

For us on this occasion, the key race is the Group 2 Derby trial known as the Dante over an extended 1m2f at 3.00pm.

All eyes are on Dewhurst winner TOO DARN HOT.

Too Darn Hot

There’s every chance Japan will give him a race, but last season’s top juvenile always looked as though 1m2f wouldn’t be an issue.

If that is the case – and despite a setback that ruled out the 2000 Guineas – he should outclass his rivals under Frankie Dettori.

So best of luck and pray for Yeeehaaas. You hear me Paddy?
