The first Classic of the Flat season is almost upon us as Newmarket prepares to play host to the 2000 Guineas.
It’ll be our first proper chance to see how the leading three-year-olds stack up against each other, although we’ve already witnessed Charlie Appleby’s Native Trail bolt up in the Craven Stakes to establish his position as the one to beat.

Dewhurst Stakes winner Native Trail heads Paddy Power’s betting for the 2000 Guineas after landing the Craven Stakes on his seasonal reappearance over course and distance on the Rowley Mile.
The Godolphin x Charlie Appleby operation also boast the second in our market, Coroebus, who claimed the Group 3 Autumn Stakes over course and distance at the end of last season.
