Rachael Blackmore has a terrific book of rides for the finale of Fairyhouse’s Winter Festival on Sunday – and we’ve gone through the card to pick out her five mounts.
NEW TO PADDY POWER?
It could be a brilliant start to the day for Blackmore as Max Mayhem is prominent in our betting market for the second race on the schedule, the Grade 3 Juvenile Hurdle, at 12.35pm.
She is booked on another of Joseph Patrick O’Brien’s runners in the following contest, the Royal Bond Novice Hurdle, at 1.05pm but Uhtred is an outsider according to our traders after needing four runs to break his maiden status earlier this month.
Midnight Run – also trained by O’Brien – is Blackmore’s hope in the Drinmore Novice Chase but the seven-year-old finished behind Gabynako and Fury Road in a Beginners Chase at Fairyhouse earlier this month so needs to reverse the form if he’s to win.
The dream team that is Rachael Blackmore and Honeysuckle team up once again as Henry de Bromhead’s superstar mare attempts to continue her incredible unbeaten career run. The reigning Champion Hurdle winner is the odds-on favourite to win the Hatton’s Grace Hurdle.
The Grand National-winning jockey rounds off her day’s work on Gua Du Large for De Bromhead in the 21-runner Grade A Handicap Hurdle at 3.10pm.
How many winners will Blackmore ride on a super Sunday of racing at Fairyhouse? You can find out by visiting our snazzy Results page.
