Gaelic Football: Watch Colm O’Rourke and Aidan O’Mahony tackle the big semi-final issues

Who will make up the final two in the chase for All-Ireland glory?

An extraordinary year has thrown up two shock pairings in this weekend’s All-Ireland Football semi-finals. Admittedly, there’s nothing strange about seeing Dublin and Mayo at this stage of the competition, but if you had called that Tipperary and Cavan would join them in the last four at the start of the year, well then you should be in the running for a spot on The Sunday Game panel!

Firstly, shock Ulster final winners Cavan go into the Croke Park bear pit to face a Dublin side hunting a sixth All-Ireland title in-a-row at 17:30 on Saturday evening. You only need to briefly look at the markets to see what our trader’s think of The Breffni County’s chances. That is followed by a dust up between Tipperary – fresh from their first Munster Championship victory in 85 years – and Mayo at 15:30 on Sunday.

But, who will be the last two standing in the race for Sam Maguire on Sunday night? We reached out to our stellar Gaelic Football brain trust of five-time All-Ireland winner with Kerry Aidan O’Mahony and Meath football icon Colm O’Rourke to find out. Of course, the two wasted little time tackling all the issues with Rob Catterson from PPTV and we’ve brought you their views, along with their top tips in video form below:
