England will attempt to make it two wins from two games in Group B when they face the USA on Friday.
The Three Lions kicked off their World Cup campaign with an emphatic 6-2 success against Iran and another victory would be enough to seal their spot in the last 16.
England are the favourites to claim all three points and the latest World Cup odds can be found on the Paddy Power website.
Southgate caused a minor stir with his attacking team selection for the opener against Iran and the question now is whether he will stick or twist against the USA.
We’ve gazed into our crystal ball to try and predict England’s starting XI for Friday’s big match…
The established number one, Jordan Pickford, is the pick between the sticks and he is likely to be in front of a back four; Kieran Trippier at right-back, Luke Shaw on the opposite flank. Harry Maguire was forced off with blurred vision against Iran but is set to be fit to start once again alongside John Stones at centre-back to earn his 50th cap.
As the USA play with three men in midfield, England are likely to mirror their formation with Declan Rice and Jude Bellingham being supported by the more advanced Mason Mount.
The controversial selection against Iran was Raheem Sterling being picked in favour of Phil Foden but the Chelsea forward justified his place in the XI with a fine goal and assist, while Bukayo Saka can expect to keep his spot after bagging a brilliant brace.
Harry Kane is set to lead the line as he bids to break Wayne Rooney’s all-time national goalscoring record. The Three Lions skipper needed a scan on ankle knock sustained against Iran but has been given the all clear to play.
