Peter Crouch’s Premier League & Champions League Predictions

  • Top 4 – Arsenal, Man City, Man United, Spurs

  • Champions League – Real Madrid
  • Relegation – Bournemouth, Southampton

We’ve Combined Crouchy’s Title Winner, Top 4 and Champions League Winner Predictions into a mega-odds 50/1 End-of-Season Punt

Champions – Arsenal

Every time I see them I’m more impressed.

There’s been such a quick mindset shift from last years. If they go a goal down, they fight back. If they get ahead they really blitz teams.

They’ve the character, ability and loads of confidence.

If they stay injury-free I just don’t see anyone stopping them.

City are a well-oiled machine and when they bring in players to replace someone they slot right in. If Arsenal lose Saka or Odegaard, for example, it’s not as easy to replace them.

But the Gunners have to be favourites as things stand.

Top 4 – Man City, Man United, Spurs

Man United should hang on in there the way they’ve played this season and then it’s tough to call for that final spot.

Liverpool and Spurs have been so inconsistent, and Newcastle’s form has dropped off. It means it’s very tight as things stand.

I want to say I feel like it’s Liverpool, but they’ve been so up-and-down all season.

It does give Newcastle a chance to get in there when they’ve not been near the top-4 in a long time.

But if I had to pick one, I’m leaning Spurs now because they’ve decided to make the change at manager. Sometimes teams can go on a run when a manger goes, even if it’s just under a caretaker..

That leaves Liverpool and Newcastle in fifth and sixth ahead of challengers like Brighton, Fulham, Brentford and Chelsea. I’m not sure what order they’ll be in, but they should be safe.

Champions League – Real Madrid

City definitely have the ability to win the Champions League and many will feel it’s their year, but there’s something about Real Madrid when it gets to this stage of the season that I can’t write-off.

I’ve seen a lot of them in these two-legged ties working on their matches for TV, and it’s really special. They just know how to handle this competition.

Man City are clearly the favourites at the moment, but I think Madrid can go and win another one.

Relegation – Bournemouth & Southampton

The relegation fight looks like it could include anyone from the bottom half.

From Crystal Palace on down you could see any of the teams being caught up in it on the final day. There’s four points covering 12th to 20th.

If you forced me to pick, I don’t think I could commit to anyone, but Bournemouth and Southampton probably look the likeliest to stay down there based on the season so far.

I can’t pick from the rest though as it’s just so close.
