Chelsea to Win
Their chance creation is there; it’s just a severe lack of effort off the ball. Only Aston Villa have run less per game than Chelsea this season – but West Ham have moved away from scintillating counters, so Chelsea won’t need to turn their backs quickly when they’re dispossessed.
Maybe it’s due to their experiences in Europe or maybe it’s simply because they’re trying to involve due to the investment, but I don’t trust West Ham to find a way back into a game because they haven’t been working on elongated build-up for long enough.
Over 3.5 Goals
The lack of a number nine appears to be the stick of choice for Chelsea fans to beat their board with, but both Man City and Liverpool have shown that Raheem Sterling will get you 20 goals without a central presence to link up with.
West Ham’s early-season fixtures would not have been considered tough bar their opener against Man City. They wouldn’t have been exploited by sides with better prospects to turn the ball over when they chase – and I think Chelsea could well hammer them.

Adding Paqueta into the mix here will be of major benefit against smaller sides but against the likes of Chelsea, he won’t have enough possession or enough fitness with which to chase those pockets of space.
They’re going to look out of sorts here due to their back three being stretched by inverted wingers.
Raheem Sterling to Score or Assist
This is a price play but at the moment, Sterling is the player making things happen.
In Sterling’s 16 Premier League games against West Ham, he’s scored eight times and provided six assists.
He knows how to exploit them and he will do here.
