Paddy’s football trader Emmet O’Keeffe thinks he’s found the route to betting glory as Poland face Slovakia in their respective Euro 2020 opener. Poland are the big favourites in this game but neither side has much hope in going too deep in the tournament – if Paddy’s prices are anything to go by.
NEW TO PADDY POWER?
Robert Lewandowski is the X factor for the Poles and, off the back of a record-breaking season in the Bundesliga with Bayern Munich, he could prove the difference in this game. Emmet’s not mad on either side, but Slovakia’s poor form in front of goal could prove to be the defining factor in this game.

Monday 5pm: Poland v Slovakia
I’m not too high on either team, but I’m lower on Slovakia. I think Slovakia will be one of the lowest-scoring teams in the tournament. They’re very, very limited in attack.
I just think that Poland with Robert Lewandowski, supported by Piotr Zielinski from Napoli, will find a way to get at least one goal and that will probably be enough against Slovakia. The bet I like here is Poland to Win to Nil.
