Sunday evening’s European action features three crunch games involving clashes in the Serie A, Ligue 1, and La Liga. Juventus are at home to Atalanta, Nice entertain Lyon, and Real Sociedad host Sevilla.

Football tipster Shane O’Brien has dived into the markets for these three games to whip up a Sunday Bet Builder, so let’s get into his picks.

Sunday’s Multi-Match Bet Builder tips

7:45pm Juventus v Atalanta
Over 2.5 goals
Randall Kolo Muani to have 2+ shots on target

7:45pm Nice v Lyon
Evann Guessand to have 2 + shots on target

8pm Real Sociedad v Sevilla
Under 2.5 goals
Sheraldo Becker to have 1+ shots on target

Juventus v Atalanta

Serie A match at the Allianz Stadium, Torino
TV: TNT Sports, 7:45pm

Over 2.5 goals

Juventus recovered well from their disappointing February exits from the Champions League and Coppa Italia, winning five Serie A games on the spin to give themselves a real chance of returning to Europe next season and hurtle themselves right back into the title race.

Therefore, Sunday’s meeting with Atalanta is a fourth-versus-third meeting, with Juventus presented with an opportunity to draw level on points with Atalanta if they emerge victorious.

The Old Lady have scored in 14 consecutive league games, a run stretching back to the end of November. They have won six of their last seven games in the league since a 1-1 draw at Atalanta back in January.

They will be full of confidence against an Atalanta side that also exited the Champions League and Coppa Italia in February but have been far more patchy than Juve in the league, winning just three of their last 11 Serie A encounters.

The hosts are likely to score at least two, considering Atalanta’s record of 59 goals scored in 27 games, which is the second-best record in Serie A, so they should also be hitting the net. The Bergamo outfit have also scored in all but two of their away matches this season.

Randall Kolo-Muani to have 2+ shots on target

Randall Kolo Muani’s Juventus career began in sensational fashion, with the French forward scoring five times in his first four games since swapping Paris for Turin. It has slowed down dramatically since, however, with Kolo Muani failing to score in his last six appearances for Juventus.

He is still likely to lead the line on Sunday and will be keen to get back among the goals. He is certainly likely to try in any case.

He has averaged exactly two shots per game in both the Serie A and the Champions League since joining Juventus and averages the second-highest shots per game average of any Juve player.

He is decent value to fire two shots on target on Sunday night.

Nice v Lyon

Ligue 1 match at the Allianz Riviera, Nice
TV: Ligue1Pass, 7:45pm

Evann Guessand to have 2 + shots on target

Lyon secured a vital Europa League win in Bucharest on Thursday evening and it does not take a football expert to work out where their priorities will lie for the remainder of the season.

This season’s Europa League is decidedly winnable, especially given the failings of both Manchester United and Tottenham this season. On the other hand, they are already seven points off Sunday’s opponents, Nice, who currently occupy the third and final Champions League spot in Ligue 1.

With that in mind, it is quite likely that Nice will dominate Sunday’s meeting, and it is not inconceivable that top-scorer Evann Guessand will cause significant problems for Lyon.

Guessand recently broke a five-game goalless streak with a goal at Saint Etienne, but his performances have been consistently good throughout that lean spell. He averages well over two shots per game and should get plenty of chances against an away side with one eye on Thursday night’s second leg against FC Steaua București.

Real Sociedad v Sevilla

Ligue 1 match at the Reale Arena, San Sebastian
TV: Premier Sports, LaLigaTV, 8pm

Under 2.5 goals

Like Lyon, Real Sociedad will also have an eye on their return leg in the Europa League, with their tie with Manchester United delicately poised after a 1-1 draw on Thursday.

They are not likely to prioritise their league meeting with Sevilla considering both sides well off the European pace while also in no danger of being relegated.

La Real are also one of the poorest attacking teams in La Liga, with only Getafe and bottom side Valladolid scoring fewer goals this season. They have only scored and conceded a combined total of 50 goals in the league this season, which is also the second-lowest tally behind Getafe.

Sevilla, on the other hand, boast a slightly better record of 31 goals scored and 36 goals conceded in 26 league outings, but it is still not indicative of high-octane goalmouth action. All signs point towards a low-scoring affair on Sunday.

Sheraldo Becker to have 1+ shots on target

Sherlado Becker made a positive impact when he came off the bench against United on Thursday, causing the Red Devils plenty of problems in the final ten minutes.

The Dutch forward is averaging 1.1 shots per game for Sociedad in the league this season, which leaves him fifth in a fairly shot-shy squad.

Facing a Sevilla side that faces around 13 shots per game in an average away league game this season, Becker is decent value to find the target at least once on Sunday night.
