Erling Haaland to score two or more goals
Haaland will be the biggest show in town as the Nordic goal god lands in Kazakhstan this week. Based on his superhuman ability to score goals, the complete change of scenery will have little impact on him, as Norway get their UEFA Nations League campaign up and running.
He has managed seven goals so far in the Premier League this season, including successive hat-tricks ahead of the international break, against Ipswich Town and West Ham.
That is backed up by four goals in his last two international appearances, including a treble against Kosovo in June, and he could cause chaos in Kazakhstan.
Alexander Sorloth to score
All of the attention will be on Haaland and the Kazakhstan defence will have a real job on their hands up against Manchester City’s No.9.
However, they will also need to keep an eye on new Atletico Madrid star Alexander Sorloth, who finished last season as La Liga’s second highest scorer with 23 goals at Villarreal.
That earned him a summer move to Atletico and he has already scored once for Diego Simeone’s team in August. In the three games he has started alongside Haaland in the last 12 month, Sorloth scored in two, and he’s ready to link up with the main man following Oscar Bobb’s injury.

France’s Euro 2024 campaign ended at the semi final stage as they lost out to eventual champions Spain on penalties. However, despite reaching the last four, there was still frustration over a chance missed for Les Bleus.
Didier Deschamps’ team headed into the tournament as favourites but an incredible lack of goals undermined their campaign with just four scored, including two own goals.
Kylian Mbappe did find the net, from the penalty spot, and the France captain finally ended his wait for a Real Madrid La Liga goal before the international break.
France will be hoping a double for Los Blancos can fire him up against Italy and Belgium in the coming days and his pre-Euro 2024 record stood at seven goals in seven games.
