Cristiano Ronaldo and his esteemed colleagues will fancy a big win against the Czech Republic given the talent they’ve got all over the pitch. It won’t be easy as the Czechs are a decent side in good form.
However, as we’ve seen so far during Euro 2024, the cream is rising to the top and upsets have been hard to come by. Portugal -1 goals in the handicaps looks to be good value.

It’s always the Cristiano Ronaldo show when Portugal are in town so why should Tuesday night be any different? CR7 will be licking his lips at the thought of starting Euro 2024 with a goal.
This could be his last major tournament and he’s probably never had a better cohort of compatriots around him, despite winning this eight years ago. He’s unlikely to start every game but we think he will here and he’ll want to remind everyone he’s not just a washed-up-Saudi-league-has-been with a goal.

There is another team playing in this game and the Czechs are in great form overall and certainly in front of goal. They’ve won five on the bounce, though those have come against some sides Ireland might manage a 0-0 with, and have scored in their last seven straight.
Talking of The Boys in Green, Ireland are the only side not to breach the Portuguese backline in their last five. For a sea-going nation the Portuguese are quite leaky so we expect Both Teams To Score.
