No recency bias on this, and I totally understand that teams can reset for big games, but I watched Coventry lose 0-3 away to Birmingham last weekend in preparation for this piece, and oh boy.
Equally adding in that the game in question was the nail in their coffin when it comes to landing a playoff spot, I just don’t see how a Man United team so desperate for silverware to cover over over the cracks will fall here.

The team talk in the United dressing room will be based on them scoring early so Coventry can’t sit back and just catch them on the break.
Luckily for them, Coventry have gotten themselves into a rut of conceding early in games lately, being 2-0 down inside the opening half of both of their most recent league outings.
There’s actually been a first-half goal in every one of their last ten Championship games, and multiple first-half goals in eight of those.

He’s scored four goals in his last three Premier League games, and is constantly coming up in big moments despite perceptions being otherwise.
Everyone needs to relax on the Bruno hate because without him, United would resemble an even more mid midtable unit.
