Millwall v Leicester – Leicester to Win

Championship match at The Den, London
TV: Sky Sports Football, Tuesday, 7:45pm

Millwall are just two points above the relegation zone going into their match against Championship leaders Leicester City where both teams will be desperate to land the three points for obvious reasons. The hosts have only collected one point over their last four in the league but their home form of two wins, one draw, and one loss isn’t bad at all.

The Foxes have won three, drawn one, and lost one over their last five in the league while on their away trips have won two, drawn two, and lost two, scoring seven goals. The Lions have been struggling in front of goal of late though, scoring just two goals over those aforementioned four most recent games and while their home form isn’t all that bad, Leicester have banged in five goals over their last two fixtures, so the value is with the away side here.

Sheffield Wednesday v Norwich – Both Teams to Score & Over 2.5 Goals

Championship match at Hillsborough, Sheffield
TV: Sky Sports Red Button, Tuesday, 7:45pm

Sheffield Wednesday are second from bottom in the Championship standings on 42 points and welcome a Norwich City side looking to cement their place in the Playoffs. The hosts took a valuable three points away from their visit to QPR on Saturday while Norwich emerged triumphant in their 1-0 win over local rivals Ipswich Town.

Wednesday’s home form is quite good, indeed, the Owls have lost just two of their last 10 at home in the league and have won three, drawn one, and lost one over their last five, scoring six and conceding four. Norwich have won four of their last five in the league and on their away trips have won one, drawn two, and lost two, scoring eight and conceding nine. With both teams scoring and conceding plenty of late, Both Teams to Score & Over 2.5 Goals has plenty of value.

Southampton v Coventry – 1st Half Over 1.5 Goals

Championship match at St Mary’s Stadium, Southampton
TV: Sky Sports Red Button, Tuesday, 7:45pm

Southampton have won two, drawn two, and lost one over their last five in the league and on home soil have won two, drawn one, and lost two, scoring a healthy 12 goals while conceding 10. Coventry have been in very good form of late, winning four of their last five in the league and winning three, drawing one, and losing one over their recent travels.

A stat that jumped out at us for this one was the amount of first-half goals scored and conceded by both teams. We’ve seen 10first-halff goals over the Saints’ last five at home and six over Coventry’s last five on the road. This one should be lively, the Sky Blues are pushing up the table while the host will be eager to not drop anymore valuable points with just a few games to go. We reckon we should see two goals being scored in the opening 45 minutes of play.

Leeds v Sunderland – Leeds -1

Championship match at Elland Road, Leeds
TV: Sky Sports Main Event, Tuesday, 8pm

Knowing that Leicester are likely to win their game against Millwall, Leeds will need a win here too to keep the pressure on them. The hosts have won three, drawn one, and lost one over their last five in the Championship while at Elland Road they’re currently enjoying a run of nine wins on the bounce, winning four of their last five played there by at least two goals.

Sunderland have collected just three points over their last five away games, one win and four losses, and failed to score in two of those five games. Leeds are incredibly strong as home, so we’re taking them in the -1 Handicap market.
