There was no Liverpool hangover from Jurgen Klopp's big decision against Chelsea, and Peter Crouch expects the same at Arsenal on Sunday

    Arsenal v Liverpool

    Premier League, Sunday, 4:30pm
    TV: Sky Sports Main Event

The idea of life without Jurgen Klopp doesn’t seem… right, does it? Certainly not for Liverpool fans.

His announcement last week has put a bit pressure on Liverpool – if they went on a losing streak after it, everyone would say the decision hasn’t helped

And when you see what’s happened at other clubs when such a big figure leaves – look at Man United after Sir Alex Ferguson, for example – that makes it look like a tough job for whoever comes next.

But he’s leaving things in good shape – they’ve some top class players and are top of the league right now.

So, it’s also exciting to see who comes next and what happens, thought they are some huge shoes to fill.

It didn’t seem to affect the team against Chelsea, though they were miles off it on Wednesday night too.

You couldn’t really expect anything else the way the two teams are playing, but Liverpool really did demolish them.

Things haven’t been going so well for Arsenal. They had a difficult period over Christmas losing to teams they shouldn’t have been.

But they have managed to get back on track with a big win over Palace and a decent performance away at Forest in midweek.

Even there, though, they did need the keeper to have a bit of a nightmare with Gabriel Jesus’s goal – that made the difference in the end.

I love the Brazilian as a player but you just never think he’s going to be that killer up front that they need.

Of course, they almost did it last year without that centre-forward, with Bukayo Saka, Gabriel Martinelli and Martin Odegaard scoring, but they probably overperformed in terms of goals, so it would take something superhuman for them to repeat that this season and we’re seeing it in their results over the last month or so.

They are still a top side with great players, they’re just missing that striker. It means the way I look at the league now, it’s Liverpool and City. Arsenal are just a bit behind those two for me.

    Liverpool to Win

And I think that’s how it’ll play out on Sunday.

Liverpool already went to Emirates once this month and won, in the third round of the FA Cup.

There should be goals, that’s the way the Premier League is now with the top sides, it’s you attack and we attack.

But I’d expect Liverpool to shade it in the end.

    Diogo Jota to Score

I love Diogo Jota. Just absolutely love him.

Whenever he gets a chance you think he’s always going to bury it.

We’ve seen Darwin Nunez, who needs to get a few chances, but Jota’s a real finisher and I’s back him for goal here.

Bukayo Saka to be Fouled 2+ Times

Bukayo Saka’s their top scorer this season and is always going to be the biggest threat.

That should mean he gets the attention of Liverpool’s defenders and I can see him being fouled a few times at least.

Gabriel Magalhaes to Commit 1+ Fouls

Centre-halves always seem like a decent option to commit a foul or two, especially when they’re going up against the cause of carnage that is Darwin Nunez.

He can definitely get at defenders and frustrate them, and Gabriel Magalhaes to have a foul is not a big ask.

    Over 4.5 Cards

I can see a few cards flaying around too. Arsenal versus Liverpool is usually a spicy game, the two managers are usually animated on the sideline and the players will be up for this too. It’s a really big game and over 4.5 cards isn’t a bad shout.
