Wolves v Brentford

Wolves to Win

Wolves come into their FA Cup replay against Brentford with the far superior form. The hosts have won three, drawn one, and lost one over their last five fixtures while the Bees have failed to win any of their last six fixtures in all competitions.

On home soil, Gary O’Neil’s side have gone undefeated over their last eight, winning four and drawing one over their last five, scoring nine and conceding three. Thomas Frank’s team have now lost four on the bounce on their travels so we’re going with Wolves to Win.

Matheus Cunha to have 1 or more Shots on Target

With Hwang Hee-Chan away at the Asian Cup, goal-scoring duties fall to Brazil’s Matheus Cunha who has six in his 20 Premier League appearances this season. That wouldn’t exactly fill us with confidence for a goal-scorers pick but in averaging 2.4 shots per game for Wolves we reckon he’ll be landing at least one on target.

    Birmingham v Hull

    St Andrew’s, 7:45pm

Both Teams to Score, No Draw

Neither side comes into this in great shape it must be said. Birmingham have won none of their last seven matches while Hull have just two victories to their name over the same period.

We should be looking at goals then rather than a results-based pick. Blues have scored five over their last five at home with the Tigers netting seven over their last five on their travels. We’re unlikely to see it ending level too with just four draws seen over their last 10 combined games so there’s a decent price to be got in the Both Teams to Score, No Draw market.

        Bolton v Luton

        Toughsheet Community Stadium, 7:45pm

        Over 2.5 Goals

Bolton come into their replay against Luton on the back of some great form. Ian Evatt’s side have won five of their last six, drawing the other one while on home soil have won eight and lost one of their last nine.

Luton have won two, drawn two, and lost one of their last five, while on their travels have won just one, drawn one and lost three, scoring six, and conceding 10. With Bolton scoring 12 over their last five as well, goals are certainly on the menu here so we’re backing Over 2.5 Goals.

        Bristol City v West Ham

        Ashton Gate, 7:45pm
        TV: BBC One

        West Ham to Win

At first glance, West Ham’s odds look rather high for a team in sixth position in the Premier League taking on a side who are mid-table in the Championship. Bristol City have won just one of their last five, drawing two and losing two while at home have won three and lost two.

David Moyes’ Hammers have gone undefeated over their last four fixtures and, away from home, have won three and lost two. West Ham should have enough in the tank to see off the hosts.

James Ward-Prowse to have 1 or more Shots on Target

James Ward-Prowse has very much delivered since his summer signing from Southampton. The former Saint has scored three goals and created six over his Premier League games and assisted four more in the Premier League. Averaging 1.3 shots per game means we have to add him to have a crack from distance in our Bet Builder.
